The candidates who wants to become a teacher he should pass the OTET Exam. The Odisha TET exam is a state level exam for test the eligibility of a candidate to willing a Odisha Govt Teacher. This Exam Organized by Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha. OTET Exam was started from 2012 to till now. This Examination certificate validity is lifetime. There are two times the board conducted OTET Exam i.e FOTET (Fresh Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test) and SOTET (Special Teacher Eligibility Test) in 2 papers. Paper 1 is for Primary Teacher and Paper 2 is for Upper Primary Teacher.

OTET Exam's time duration is 2.5 hours, which includes 150 marks from 150 McQs in five subjects for Paper 1 and for Paper 2, 150 marks from 150 McQ in three compulsory Subject and Mathematics/ Social Science.
