The Odisha Legislative Assembly has passed key amendments to increase the monthly compensation package for Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs). The revised package which includes basic pay, allowances, and other benefits received unanimous support across all parties, as confirmed by the Parliamentary Affairs Minister.
Under the new salary structure, a sitting MLA in Odisha will now receive a total of ₹3.45 lakh per month.

The enhanced MLA salary package was approved by the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly in 2025. A detailed breakdown of the revised monthly compensation is provided in the table below.
