UDAQ-1867. Shri Om Prakash Mishra Will the minister for School and Mass Education be pleased to state that The government has committed to recruit 44, 433 teachers over three years (15,000 per year) to meet NEP-2020 requirements. (a) How many teachers have been actually recruited between August 2025 and November 2025 against the target of 15,000 for 2025-26? (b) Have all recruitment notifications been issued? If not, what is the timeline for notification release? What is the subject-wise and designation-wise (Primary/Upper Primary/Secondary) breakdown of these 44,433 sanctioned positions? & How many of the 44, 433 positions will be allocated to Puri district and further to Satyabadi/Kanas blocks? & Will the government conduct teacher recruitment before or after the implementation of BSE-CHSE board merger?

Shri Nityananda Gond, Minister, School & Mass Education -
a) Government has decided a three-year plan to recruit 44,433 elementary teachers, at an annual target of 15,000 to meet NEP-2020 and RCFCE norms. The recruitment process for 2025-26 is presently at an advanced preparatory stage.
b) Department has already initiated the statutory and financial consultations for post-creation and recruitment of teachers. The sanctioned requirement of 44,433 posts is based on the State-level assessment of teacher requirement after adjusting for existing manpower and projected retirements by 31.12.2025. The allocation for Puri along with other districts will be notified after receipt of concurrence of the competent authority. Similarly steps are being taken for merger of BSE and CHSE.
